Essential To Waking Up

Jessie was thrilled that this happened. A while back, our friend Caitlin was supposed to stay with us and we didn't hear from her so we just went to bed. At around 3 in the morning, she finally showed up and buzzed our door. I tried to get Jessie to wake up and get the door but she told me she couldn't because she had already done it on the "real life internet calendar." The exact conversation is hazy but that phrase has stuck with us and now she has one for me.
